What a correction needs, and what this publication cannot do.
Who should a correction be sent to?

What does a useful correction include?
Send the page URL, the passage, the instrument model or document version where it matters, and a link to the supporting evidence. A fault in one sample is not a conclusion about every example of a product. Do not send passwords or payment details with that message.
What does an offered sample not guarantee?
If a sample is offered, the message needs to say whether the item is a loan, a gift or a purchase, and what commercial arrangement is proposed. Sending a sample does not guarantee a page or a favourable conclusion. A supplied sample also cannot establish the performance of every unit. Read the disclosure policy before treating a shop listing as a measurement.
